i really wanna make my own but don't know where to start or exactly what to use to make it.
i'm new to this and can really use some pointers.
If you make Armor the first Time, you should visit the 405th.com first, there are many Treads that show you what you need and how you can do it.
There are different Ways and Materials, you should also have a big Budget, Time, Nerves, Machines and maybe a Garage or Garden, if you want a Suite made out of Fiberglas (Toxic Materials, etc...).
I recommend Pepakura, itīs easy for everybody, but also needs a little Time to know how to scale the Files to your Size.
Okay i'll check that site out.
i wanna use the foam since it looks sturdy.
how do i scale the files what do i need to do that a couple people told me about it but i could never figure out what i need or what exactly they were talking about?
But before that, you need to scale them, like every Pepakura File, to your Size.
Most People use the Width-Settings, because they are the most important Part and they scale the Rest too.
Because the Foam is 1cm thick, you need to calculate that in, also a little more for the Size you want.
I am adding a few Millimeters or Centimeters to every Part i need, so i have Place for the Padding.
There are Files out there, wich already are modified as Templates.
They come sometimes as a complete Set for the whole Armor, and some of them are stand-alone.
Modifing those Files isnīt easy if you never worked with the Pepakura Designer.
I needed about a half Year to get used to that Programm, but i never used it often.
It can be learned faster too.
But now i can unfold .OBJ Files and modify them to Templates.
where do i get the pepakura designer?
i think i understand some of it now thanks alot :3
But you need a Serial. Viewer is free.
This is one of the most epic sets of armor I've ever seen XD
